Thalie Paris

Hermine Tote

Color: Black

We are delighted to be the first to offer the sustainable luxury handbag brand, Thalie Paris, in the United States. They create daring bags for those who do not want to compromise on style and functionality, but understand the importance of not over-consuming while using available resources. Thalie Paris believes that sustainability is an opportunity, not a constraint to creativity, and treat recycling as an art.

We adore their Hermine tote. This tote consists of sustainably sourced lamb leather from France and is adorned with Thalie’s signature triangle panels made of ICTYOS Squama Luxe, a recycled "marine leather" from France.

Ictyos Squama Luxe comes from the recycling of salmon skin from agro-food industries and French sushi restaurants. Developed in Lyon by Ictyos Cuirs Marins de France, Ictyos uses vegetable tanning---a process that does not involve harmful substances like chrome and heavy metals that is widely used in traditional tanning. Thanks to Ictyos, Thalie Paris is able to create value-added products by transforming salmon skin into a luxurious resource which reduces our environmental footprint and thus contributes to a circular and restorative system.

This is the perfect tote! It is ideal for travel or just for running around town.

Meet Thalie Paris

We met Nathalie Dione in Paris in the Fall of 2021. This stunningly talented French Canadian has lived and worked in the global fashion industry in Paris, and all over the world for over two decades. She launched Thalie right before the world locked down in early 2020. We love her innovative designs and devotion to sustainability. Her use of Salmon skin from sushi restaurants are used in combination with upcycled leathers from French luxury house dormant stocks. Thaleia is one of the Three Graces of Roman Mythology and is said to have brought beauty to the world. We are delighted to be the only stockiest of Thalie Paris in the USA.

About Lesetta

For the love of culture

Traveling from America, more often than not, means arriving in places much older than our hometowns. Lands where original techniques were invented and have been used for centuries. Places where natural beauty and its resources are the design inspiration. The excitement for us is to discover a maker who has mastered the old techniques and pushes its evolution into the current world of fashion.

Personally Hand-Curated

Everywhere we go, we seek out exquisite pieces. Works of the highest standards that are created, not manufactured. We have been fortunate to meet artists and designers who have shown us how sincerely they put their hearts and souls into what they do. These are the makers who make things the way they were originally meant to be made - to endure.

More than an accessory

The pieces in the Lesetta Collection are carefully selected. The investment in these works is not only financial, but also emotional. We source items that can complete an outfit and elevate a mood. Things you won’t see on everyone as you walk down the street.

Meet the Founder

My career began in the African safari business many years ago, a venture that led ultimately to my exploring similar operations in Argentina. That experience, combined a few years later with living in Italy, led me to knowing that exploring the world would be a priority for me. Over the years, I have treasured most the artisanal pieces I have purchased during my travels, exceptional items that weave high fashion and fine craftsmanship. To find these uniquely beautiful things, then, has become my obsession.
