Gustoko by Paula Figueras
Lisbon // Portugal and The Philippines

$295

From Gustoko’s Asia Line of hand-embroidered bags, we love these Koi Fish clutches. This is Figueras’ return to her original design aesthetic of showing the beauty of her home country of the Philipipines. They are created from t’nalak fabric which is woven by the T’boli ethnic tribe. The very long process from collecting the fibers, drying them, coloring and weaving are 100% handmade, and Gustoko’s use of this material helps to keep their tradition of weaving alive. The bead details and rich colors make these bags statement pieces that can be worn day or night.
